At-home suggestions
- Read (books, magazines, comics) for at least 20+ minutes a day (make reading goals)
- 10-15 minute quick write in Response Journal everyday (see possible prompts below, or write about a book you're reading)
- Practice addition and subtraction flash cards to encourage automatic recall
- Telling time on an analog clock. Elapsed time. Discuss a.m. and p.m. Midnight and Noon. Dawn and Dusk.
- Go to worksheetworks.com to create and print your own cursive practice pages
5 Weekly Writing Prompts Response Journal - write for 10 minutes or more daily
